Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is an intensive, short-term behavioral intervention program designed for children and adolescents who exhibit severe behavioral challenges that place themselves or others at risk. Delivered by trained behavioral coaches under the supervision of a licensed therapist, TBS uses evidence-based techniques to identify the function of problematic behaviors and replace them with positive, adaptive alternatives.

TBS is commonly provided in the child’s home, school, or community — wherever the targeted behaviors are most likely to occur — ensuring that interventions are practical, real-world, and immediately applicable.
